These articles were published in Aftenposten shortly after the symposium in Oslo took place. On the day of the symposium, Ann Christiansen wrote a general description of the event. Several days later, Pal Klethagen, a young sociologist, wrote a debate article describing his research with non-problem Internet poker players. Hans Olav Fekjaer quickly sent a response rebuking Klethagen for ignoring the issue of problem gambling and, some days later, Klethagen wrote a short rejoinder. Dr. Volberg submitted a separate rejoinder, translated into Norwegian, which was not published. It is posted here to give readers a fuller understanding of the Norwegian context.
