MMI Critique

The critical review of the MMI report identified numerous serious technical flaws in the 2005 prevalence survey.  These include an inadequate description of the methodology, a non-representative sample, low response rate, inappropriate statistical treatment of the data and use of a problem gambling measure that does not allow comparison with previous Norwegian surveys.

The 20-page document (available only in English) is posted here in hopes that the review can contribute to improving the quality of future prevalence surveys in Norway and internationally.
